Lucy Goosey
Lucy Goosey
Lucy Goosey is a special needs goose after she was hit by a car and retained some head injuries. She was rehabilitated by a nice woman and then brought to Big Ears so she can live with other geese.
Lucy has settled in well and adapts to her condition nicely. She has also made some friends.
Lucy can be sponsored for $40.00 total for 12 months which will go towards some treats as well as her health treatments to keep her free from parasites and healthy.

Lucky
Lucky
Lucky the duck came to live at Big Ears after he could no longer live at his old home due to his aggressive behaviour. Lucky had been hand reared and once he reached sexual maturity he became a bit of a handful, attacking his owners and making life difficult with them being unable to go into the backyard.
Lucky came to Big Ears and integrated into the larger muscovy duck population. His aggressive behaviour has disappeared and he is content to be with the ducks rather than worrying about what the humans are doing.
Sponsorship of Lucky is $40.00 total for 12 months and will go towards his health treatments.
Abby was born with 3 others at Big Ears. In January 2015, Jacqui trapped their mother Pretzel as a feral cat on the property, we didn’t know at the time that she was pregnant. In February Pretzel surprised us by giving birth to 4 beautiful kittens.
Pretzel was only a young cat herself possibly about 6 to 7 months old. She has done an amazing job of raising her babies and in amongst it all she has become friendly to humans. You can tame ferals.
Sponsorship is $100.00 total for 12 months and will go towards her vet checks and parasite control.
