March has brough much heartache with the virus myxomatosis infecting a number of our bunnies. This is a cruel and unnecessary disease as there is a vaccination available yet the Australian Government has made it illegal as they fear it would interfere with immunity rates in the ‘wild’ population. in total 5 rabbits had to be put to sleep because of this revolting deliberately spread disease.
